Boo! Who’s there!
Once upon a time, a boy named Marcus, was living alone in his grandparents’ house. It was his summer vacation and he had gone to his ancestral village.
One day, in the evening hours, there was a thunderstorm and heavy rains were pouring down. Suddenly, there was a power cut and Marcus decided to go out with an umbrella. He wore his shoes and was ready to set off. He turns up his umbrella but the strong winds hit the umbrella and it flew away. So, he had to run for shelter. As he walked, he saw a big banyan tree and he sat under it for a very long time. Time was ticking….. Until it was 12’ am midnight.
The tree was huge and shady. People had many ghost stories related to it. But since Marcus was from the city, he didn’t believe in them.
Suddenly, there was some sound from behind the tree. He thought that there was a ghost behind it, Marcus got scared and was quiet. He could hear the ghost whisper “Oh little boy, want to play hide and seek?”. He got really scared. “You can’t be staying there for too long”, she whispered. The ghost appeared and said “So, want to play now?”. Marcus said “No! I don’t trust you.” And started running. When he tried to look back, he saw that it was his elder sister with long hair! “You got tricked!”
Moral: Don’t be scared, unless you know who it is.
