Equivalent fractions puzzle activity

A puzzle activity was conducted at Insight International School, Mehdipatnam, for the students of Grade 6-A.

The main objective of the activity was to help students understand the concept of equivalent fractions through a fun, hands-on approach. Students were divided into small groups and provided with colorful puzzle cards containing various fractions. Their task was to match and arrange the cards to form pairs or sets of equivalent fractions.

The classroom was filled with enthusiasm as students collaborated, discussed, and applied their understanding to complete the puzzles correctly. The activity not only reinforced their conceptual clarity but also promoted teamwork, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Through this engaging session, students realized that mathematics can be both educational and enjoyable when learned through creative activities.
