What is ISA?
INSIGHT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ( SHAIKHPET ) is the re accredited with the prestigious INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD (2017-2020) by BRITISH COUNCIL
The INSIGHT Shaikhpet Team's hard work to bring 'International Dimension' into education has been rewarded yet again by the BRITISH COUNCIL. It is the only Islamic school in Hyderabad to have received the honour twice in a row.
The students and teachers at Shaikhpet were involved in year long projects which were presented to parents in an Activity SHOWCASE Event in December 2016.
The students of Pre- Primary to Grade 10 were involved in various projects with topics related to the syllabus. Each project enhanced the learning of students through multidimensional activities like Nukkad natak, Mime show, Rally, etc.
Three of the projects were successfully collaborated with schools in Kuwait, UAE and Qatar. Our students and the students of the collaborating schools enjoyed the experiences of sharing their learning through live Video Calling and exchanging emails.
The prep students shared the experience of visiting a zoo with their Kuwaiti counterparts and Grade 6 students exchanged their research on Food wastage with students in UAE and Qatar.
The ISA award experience has helped bring international learning into our classrooms. Our students have learnt valuable lessons about sustainability, mutual respect and global citizenship.
