Four areas of study of the IQRA programme are
Quranic Studies:
It includes Memorisation and Reading, Understanding and Explanation, Adab , and Ulum ul Quran, Teachings of the Quran .This comprehensive approach to learning about the Quran with the aim of deepening a student’s connection to it.
Sirah and Hadith:
It is not only a biographical narration of the life of the prophet(Pbuh) but also conveys its importance in daily life. In higher grades, extensive Corpus of Hadith literature is presented in a methodical fashion.
Aqidah, Fiqh and Akhlaq:
Helps develop a firm belief in the articles of faith and a rational understanding of them. They also start using Islamic Vocabulary in the conversations with family and friends
Islamic History and Social Studies:
It gives the students the opportunity to come to know about those Muslims who lived before us and of those with whom we are living today. It instills in the student a sense of belonging to family, community , nation and the world.
Islamic studies is a core subject at Insight International School. Islamic Studies is taught with the Vision of preparing practicing Muslims.
Insight school faculty has designed special attractive and colorful books for pre primary students to cover all important aspects of Islam.
Cambridge syllabus is followed at secondary level.
To cater the needs of the students and make it easy we proudly announce that a Book is specially designed and compiled according to Cambridge syllabus by our faculty member Ms. Fareena Seemeen.
Islamic Studies classes at Insight are active and lively. All the concepts will be taught through activities like flow charts, dialogue, schematic presentations, debate etc
Various programs will be conducted by Islamic studies teachers to discuss different topics every week.
Students will be prepared for elocution, essay writing, quiz and naat for intra school competitions.
Students participated in many inter school competitions and won prizes at different levels.
